Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is hiring Physical Therapist Aides to join our team as floaters, providing coverage throughout Central and Eastern Long Island. Your clinic location will vary based on staffing needs and scheduling demands—you’ll support patient care across all of our clinics in the region.

Qualifications

• Must be able to cover 15–20 minutes from home office and arrange transportation.
• Knowledge of Anatomy & Kinesiology.
• Knowledge of the equipment used in therapy work.
• Knowledge of patient needs and safety considerations.
• Ability to demonstrate and explain strengthening techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scribe for recording and editing therapeutic exercises under supervision of a PT/OT.
• Prepare heat and ice packs, assist patients and guide exercises.
• Maintain and troubleshoot treatment equipment and supplies.
• Educate patients on equipment use and exercise routines.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist with front desk duties as needed.
