ATI Physical Therapy in the South Bend area is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to support clinicians and patients. You will be trained and mentored on patient intake, treatment setup, and exercise progression in a collaborative clinical setting.

This role offers exposure to physical therapy procedures, equipment setup, and patient education as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients by phone and in person during check-in and throughout their appointment time.
• Assist with efficient patient intake, registration, and scheduling support for clinicians.
• Onboard new patients by reviewing paperwork, verifying benefits, and completing forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas and arranging exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
