Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a friendly Physical Therapy Aide to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. You will greet patients, assist with scheduling, and help clinicians with timely registration and onboarding.

You will support therapists by preparing treatment areas, setting up equipment, and guiding patients through prescribed home exercises, while monitoring progress and communicating findings to the team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients by phone and in person during check-in and during appointments.
• Assist with timely scheduling and efficient patient intake/registration.
• Onboard new patients by reviewing paperwork, verifying benefits and completing forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas and setting up exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team; assist patients with home exercise programs.

• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
