Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center in Virginia. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to the aging population in a skilled nursing setting, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

Responsibilities include screenings, evaluations, plan of care development, and documentation, while collaborating with the Director of Rehabilitation. Competitive benefits and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education
