Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered care in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will evaluate and treat residents, coordinate with the Rehabilitation Director, and supervise therapy assistants as needed.

The role emphasizes compassionate, proactive care, compliance with regulations, and ongoing professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments per state acts and plan of care.
• Help optimize mobility and quality of life for the aging population.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings and in-service education.
• Develop a robust therapy program with Rehab Director; supervise therapists as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Carry out duties with moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies

• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population

• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner

• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education

• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop a robust therapy program

• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated

• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines

• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care

• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations

• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
