Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to support senior living and Skilled Nursing settings in Everett, PA. The incumbent will conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments in line with state practice acts and policies, focusing on improving mobility and quality of life for the aging population.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, supervision of Therapy Assistants, infection control adherence, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for aging population.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Collaborate with Director of Rehabilitation to develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties involving moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
