Job summary

TransPerfect Health in Staunton, Virginia, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at King's Daughter Nursing and Rehab, dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care for the aging population. You will perform screenings, evaluations, treatments, documentation, and contribute to a robust therapy program, while upholding OBRA guidelines, infection control, and collaborative mentorship.

Qualifications

• CAPTE-accredited PT program required.
• If foreign-trained, degree evaluated as equivalent by an APTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for aging population.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
  • If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency
