Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• For foreign-trained hires, degree evaluated as equivalent to U.S. PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments per state practice acts and care plans.
• Help optimize mobility, independence, and quality of life for aging residents.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Collaborate with Rehabilitation Director to develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties involving moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
