Job summary

TransPerfect Health in Cary, NC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team serving seniors in skilled nursing and senior living settings. You will conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments, document promptly, and help develop a robust therapy program with the Director of Rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts and plan of care.
• Help optimize mobility, independence, and quality of life for seniors in living and skilled nursing settings.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Develop a robust therapy program in collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties with moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop a robust therapy program
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated
• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
  • If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency
