Job summary

TransPerfect Health in Middleton Oaksort is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to aging populations in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will evaluate, treat, and document patient progress, while mentoring staff and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program; if foreign-trained, evaluation required by a credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments per state acts and plan of care.
• Improve functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for aging populations.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Collaborate with Rehabilitation Director to develop robust therapy programs.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Exercise sound clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties with moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner

  • If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency
