Job summary

Montefiore Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in accordance with the NYS Physical Therapy Practice Act and hospital policy.

The role includes daily supervision of PTAs, Rehabilitation Aides and students, and collaboration with the department team to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field is preferred.
• New York State license and current registration or a limited permit for a recent graduate.
• Knowledge of General Therapeutic Equipment.
• General computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist provides direct patient care, including evaluation and treatment as outlined by the guidelines of NYS Physical Therapy Practice Act and Hospital policy.
• Provides daily clinical supervision to P.T.A.'s, Rehabilitation Aides and students.
• Embraces the team concept of the department and the customer service approach to patient care.
