Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent required.
• Michigan Physical Therapist licensure required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification typically required.
• Ability to safely assist and lift patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients per physician orders and diagnosis.
• Develop treatment plans with time-based functional goals.
• Reassess and modify treatment based on progress and findings.
• Document outcomes and communicate with physicians about changes.
• Supervise therapy assistants and ensure proper supervision.
• Ensure documentation supports billing and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in department meetings and continuing education.
