Job summary

MyMichigan Health seeks a Physical Therapist to oversee care and delegate tasks to the Physical Therapist Assistant and aides. You will evaluate function, plan and adjust treatments, and collaborate with physicians to ensure effective patient care.

You will educate patients and families, document outcomes, and maintain compliance with policies. A sign-on bonus up to $30,000 may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and orientation completed successfully.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with good problem solving and time management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient function using formal and informal testing.
• Develops goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data.
• Submits written treatment regimes and coordinates with the physician.
• Devises a treatment schedule and discusses with patient/family.
• Educates patient and family on pathology, prognosis and treatment.
