Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under the supervision of Therapy Leadership. The role includes supervising patients, rehab technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certified.
• Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.
• Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Adhere to Mercy mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.
