Job summary

Mariner Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with various physical disabilities, relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing through exercise, heat, ultrasound, massage, and other modalities.

The role requires a California license, and candidates should have a plan to maintain patient records, supervise assistants if applicable, and perform home assessments when appropriate. A Covid-19 vaccine is required to work in our facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor or Master in Physical Therapy.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in California.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Plans and administers treatment under physician orders.
• Tests and measures muscle strength, ROM, coordination, respiration and circulation.
