Job summary

Mariner Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions, following physician orders and an established plan of care.

You will administer tests, interpret results, document progress, and educate residents and families on mobility devices and home safety. California licensure and COVID-19 vaccination are required. Prior clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Physical Therapy required.
• Current Physical Therapy license by State board.
• Covid-19 vaccine required.
• Must comply with California COVID mandate.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administer and interpret tests for strength, ROM, and vital functions.
• Provide direct patient treatment per care plan.
• Instruct patients and families in use of mobility devices.
• Maintain patient records.
• Develop and implement treatment tools for patient needs.
• Perform home assessments to support discharge.
• Complete forms per company policy and regulations.
