Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensure required; Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred post-2016.
• Experience in clinical setting preferred (internship/apprenticeship).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care processes.

Responsibilities

• Completes billing sheet accurately by end of day.
• Evaluates effects of treatment and adjusts plan for maximum benefit.
• Performs patient assessment and establishes a plan of care.
• Supervises PTAs according to policy and state regulations.
• Discusses evaluation, goals and treatment with patient and family.
• Participates in Hospital-wide quality process improvement.
