Qualifications

• Must hold Maine Physical Therapy licensure or be eligible for licensure before practice.
• Accredited education and clinical qualifications for PT practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate functional needs and mobility limitations; develop individualized treatment goals.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and reassess progress; adapt plan of care as needed.
• Use exercise, gait, balance, strength and functional mobility strategies to connect treatment with daily activities.
• Explain techniques clearly; help patients and caregivers participate safely in care.
• Collaborate with rehab team to align goals with daily activities; document evaluations and progress accurately.
• Follow professional standards, safety practices and applicable requirements.
