Job summary

Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Rehab Services team in an acute care setting. You will evaluate and treat patients across inpatient, outpatient, and three care settings, develop treatment plans, supervise therapy delivery, document care, and help shape policies with the Rehab Director.

A Louisiana PT license and a professional background in inpatient or outpatient PT are required.

IMC is currently looking to hire aPhysical Therapist( Rehab Services) on aFulltimebasis. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patient needs, develop appropriate treatment plans, be responsible for organizing and conducting medically necessary physical therapy to restore function , prevent disability, decrease pain, and promote healing following disease, injury or sickness in our acute care setting.We have a team-oriented environment and our therapy servicesspan across three settings, including acute, outpatient, and inpatient rehab.Our department is a great environment for flexibility and development ofskills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/LICENSURE:

• Minimum of a baccalaureate degree in physical therapy from an approved school.
• Current valid Physical Therapy License in Louisiana, or a temporary permit granted by LSBPTE.

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

• Successful completion of long term clinical rotations in inpatient and outpatient environments from an accredited PT school, or one year of recent experience in inpatient or outpatient practice.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:
