Job summary

Independent Living Systems, LLC invites a licensed Physical Therapist to join our West Palm Beach team. The role focuses on evaluating patients, designing personalized rehabilitation plans, and applying manual therapy and therapeutic exercises to restore movement and reduce pain.

The candidate will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, monitor progress, and educate patients and families on home exercise programs and prevention strategies.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology relevant to physical therapy.
• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, medical history, and therapeutic goals.
• Apply manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure effective rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate new techniques into patient care.
