Job summary

The Marina Post-Acute in Florida is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate residents, design and implement individualized treatment plans to restore mobility, balance, and independence after illness, injury, or hospitalization.

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document accurately, and participate in care plans. The successful candidate will have a DPT, Florida license, and a patient-centered approach with strong communication and

Qualifications

DPT or equivalent from an accredited program.
Current Florida PT license in good standing.
Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience in SNF or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents' physical abilities, mobility limitations, strength and balance.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and function.
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and pain management.
Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Educate residents and families on exercises and injury prevention.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in care plan meetings.
