Sterling Therapy Providers in Rahway, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist to organize and conduct rehabilitation programs. You will guide client participation to restore function, promote independence, and improve overall health outcomes.

The role emphasizes evaluating residents, developing goals, designing adaptive devices, and collaborating with the rehab team to select optimal therapies. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited by the AMA and APTA and certified by APTA.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required per the State.
• Strong organizational and communication skills essential for resident care and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents and develops treatment goals; implements therapy plans and maintains documentation.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices; trains residents in use of orthotics/prosthetics.
• Selects appropriate physical agent modalities based on individual needs and diagnosis.
• Collaborates with rehab team to choose optimal regimens and adjust plans as needed.
• Instructs residents in mobility techniques; monitors progress and adjusts goals as necessary.
• Ensures safety, oversees care in meetings, and participates in staff training and equipment maintenance.
