Job summary

IU Health Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation at North Keystone is seeking a licensed physical therapist for a part-time role (30 hours weekly) with a focus on restoring function and reducing pain. The position includes supervision responsibilities and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidate must hold an Indiana PT license, have a Doctoral or pre-2016 Bachelor’s/Master’s in PT, and maintain BLS certification; advanced life support may be required by department policy.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctoral Degree in physical therapy or Bachelor’s/Master’s in PT prior to 2016.
• Requires current Physical Therapist license in Indiana.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Assists patients to reach maximum performance levels and supervises PT assistants, support personnel, and students.
• Participates in related activities in support of patient care and department operations.

Shift:

Part-Time (30 hours scheduled Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

Requirements:

• Requires a Doctoral Degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in physical therapy prior to 2016. If foreign trained, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
• Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assists patients to reach maximum performance levels. Provides all components of direct patient care including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
