Job summary

Driftwood Healthcare Center-Santa Cruz is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions. The role requires planning and delivering therapy within the scope of practice and federal guidelines.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a current California PT license; one year of clinical experience is preferred, and new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge of residents.
• Completes required forms and documents per company policy and state/federal regulations.
