Job summary

Driftwood Healthcare Center-Hayward is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. The position offers full/part-time options with a competitive salary and a sign-on bonus, reflecting our commitment to professional growth and resident-centered care.

As a PT, you will evaluate and treat patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues, perform tests on strength and motion, maintain records, and participate in home assessments to support safe discharge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
