Santa Monica Healthcare Center is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions. The role includes evaluating strength, range of motion, and respiratory efficiency within a care plan, while maintaining patient records and safeguarding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; new grads welcomed.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
