Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Illinois to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, adjusting plans of care as needed. This role includes a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for moving 50 miles or more.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based therapy and ensuring safe patient handling. Responsibilities include designing treatment plans, documenting progress in the EMR, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Illinois (IDFPR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association
• Attend and satisfactorily complete continuing education for acute stroke care

Responsibilities

• Performs patient transfers with safe body mechanics
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods
• Evaluates clinical findings for PT diagnoses and outcomes
• Completes examinations and documentation in the EMR
• Applies therapeutic modalities and uses taping for stabilization
• Communicates progress and treatment recommendations to referring providers
