Job summary

You will supervise therapists' assistants, educate patients on injury prevention and rehabilitation, and work in a team that values patient safety, quality care, and compassionate service. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
• Current State Physical Therapy License required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to coverage needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Provides educational information to patients regarding injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy and rehabilitation therapy.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment.
• Communicates effectively with patients, physicians, families and colleagues.
• Assesses patients clinically and documents progress; plans care per licensed standards.
