Fiberhire is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) in Stoughton, MA on a PRN basis to deliver comprehensive PT services aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and independence. The role emphasizes a compassionate, patient-centered approach within a collaborative rehabilitation team.

The ideal candidate will hold a Massachusetts PT license, a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts PT license is required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required as applicable.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ mobility, strength, balance, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Provide PT treatments to improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence.
• Perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, and transfer training.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team in Stoughton, MA on a PRN basis. The Physical Therapist will provide comprehensive physical therapy services designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, independence, and overall quality of life.

The ideal candidate is a compassionate, patient-focused professional with strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality rehabilitation care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical abilities, mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional limitations.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, clinical evaluations, and established goals.

• Provide physical therapy treatments and therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence.

• Perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and other appropriate rehabilitation techniques.

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to promote independence.

• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner.

• Communicate changes in patient condition and progress with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate.

• Promote patient safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

• Follow all applicable federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional standards of practice.

• Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Current and valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) license.

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent degree from an accredited program.

• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required as applicable.

• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or a healthcare setting preferred.

• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation practices.

• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.

• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Ability to safely evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of physical and functional limitations.

• Must be able to pass required background and employment checks.
