Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to contribute to outpatient and inpatient care, evaluating patients and implementing plans of care. You’ll work within a mission to improve community health and patient outcomes across departments.

The role requires NC licensure, a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, and BLS within 30 days of hire. Weekend coverage 2 days supports our patient-centered scheduling and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy License.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctoral preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient and inpatient evaluations, assessments, plans of care, and ongoing physical therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Administers treatment plan to restore function and prevent disability.
• Accurately documents patient information and ensures correct insurance billing.
• Participates in departmental operations: budget, quality, clinical education, infection control, safety and team-building.

How You Will Contribute

• A Physical Therapist who excels in this role:
• Responsible for outpatient and inpatient evaluations, assessments, plans of care and ongoing physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Administers treatment plan of care in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
• Accurately documents in a timely manner, all patient related information and ensure that patients are charged correctly per departmental and insurance carrier guidelines.
• Participates in departmental operational activities such as the budget, clinical quality, clinical education, infection control, departmental safety and team building programs.

What We Are Looking For

• Applicants should have current North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy License
• Bachelor's degree. Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• BLS is required within 30 days of hire
