Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team, providing both outpatient and inpatient evaluations, plans of care, and ongoing therapies as prescribed by physicians. Weekend coverage is required, with a two-day commitment.

You will document patient information accurately for billing, participate in department initiatives, and contribute to quality and safety programs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy License
• Bachelor's degree; Master's or Doctoral degree preferred
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient and inpatient evaluations, assessments, plans of care, and ongoing PT treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Administer treatment plans to restore function and prevent disability after injury, disease or physical disability.
• Document patient information accurately and timely for correct insurance billing.
• Participate in departmental activities such as budgeting, clinical quality, education, infection control, safety and team building

How you will contribute

• A Physical Therapist who excels in this role:
• Responsible for outpatient and inpatient evaluations, assessments, plans of care and ongoing physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Administers treatment plan of care in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
• Accurately documents in a timely manner, all patient related information and ensure that patients are charged correctly per departmental and insurance carrier guidelines.
• Participates in departmental operational activities such as the budget, clinical quality, clinical education, infection control, departmental safety and team building programs.

What we are looking for

• Applicants should have current North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy License
