What you will do in this role:

1. Evaluate a patient’s condition, develop a treatment plan, and help them improve daily. Instruct nursing staff and family members on follow-through programs that build on patient progress.
2. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to records.
3. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting standards.
4. Instruct family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
5. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
6. Handle responsibilities according to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
