Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is recruiting a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Far Rockaway Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Far Rockaway, NY. You will evaluate residents and develop rehabilitation plans in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active New York State Physical Therapist license is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' conditions and develop rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve pain using exercises, hands-on therapy, and stretching.
• Help residents through tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and protect facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contribute to team effort.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program

Current New York State PT License
