Job summary

Inova Physical Therapy-Springfield is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team as PRN or as needed for intermittent coverage between Monday and Friday. Clinic hours are 7:00am–7:00pm (Mon-Thu) and 7:00am–4:30pm (Fri). Our 1:1 patient treatment model supports personalization and growth through mentorship and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Virginia Physical Therapist Licensure or Physical Therapist compact privileges required upon start.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.

Responsibilities

• Select evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patient's diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating treatment plans.
• Demonstrate skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Perform re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adhere to department policies regarding written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Therapist PRN Job Responsibilities:
