Job summary

Inova Physical Rehab Services – Woodbridge is actively seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in a full-time role, Monday through Friday. The position supports a Woodbridge location with work at 14605 Potomac Branch Drive, Woodbridge, VA 22191, near the Potomac Branch campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist to start.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association on start date.
• Preferred: 1 year of PT experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
