Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join the team at Valley View Medical Center in Fort Mohave, AZ. You will evaluate prescribed PT programs, educate patients on prevention and rehabilitation, and establish care plans in collaboration with patients.

The role involves designing and delivering individualized therapies to restore function, reduce pain, and prevent dysfunction, while supervising PT assistants and students as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Provide educational information to patients in regard to injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy, and rehabilitation.
• Establish a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires.
• Plan, prepare, and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.
• Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. Additional requirements include:
