Job summary

ACHE in Topeka, KS is seeking a full-time Therapy Physical Therapist (PT) for a day shift. The role involves performing PT evaluations, developing plans of care, and ensuring delivery of prescribed treatments to patients.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy with a KS license and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Preferred are Master’s/Doctorate in PT and experience in medical settings. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Active Physical Therapy license in Kansas is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Experience in medical/rehabilitation settings is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.

• Performs physical therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice act in the State of Kansas.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community. Reports to the assigned leader of department.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapy license in State of Kansas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
