Job summary

Motion Physical Therapy Group in New York is recruiting a licensed physical therapist to join a high-energy outpatient team. You’ll provide evidence-based care, collaborate with PTs, OTs, CHTs, and PTAs, and advance your clinical skills in a modern facility with advanced equipment.

Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist required to practice in New York.
• CPR and first aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively develop evidence-based plans of care aligned to patient goals.
• Deliver interventions including exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities.
• Track patient outcomes and adjust treatment as needed.

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Specific hours will be discussed during the hiring manager interview. Candidates interested inpart-time work are also encouraged to apply.

*The posted salary reflects the full-time position; part-time compensation will be based on the applicable part-time pay range.

Responsibilities

• Applying your clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
• Collaboratively developing and adjusting evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
• Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
• Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
• Serving as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
• Passion for evidence-based, patient centered care
• CPR and first aid certification required
• Experience with outpatient orthopedic physical therapy treatment as a licensed therapist or during clinical rotations for new grads

Compensation: $85K - $112K*+, with an optional higher-caseload compensation model and additional compensation for eligible certifications. Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
