MOTION PT Group is seeking a Physical Therapist for per diem coverage in our outpatient clinics across Queens and Brooklyn. You will deliver hands-on care, ranging from orthopedic injuries to sports rehabilitation, with flexible assignments and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Physical Therapist or eligible to obtain licensure in the state of practice.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PT in an outpatient orthopedic setting; no new grads.

Responsibilities

• Assess movement dysfunction through patient history and exam.
• Develop and adjust evidence-based plans of care to match patient goals and lifestyle.
• Deliver interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities.
• Track patient outcomes and adjust approach based on progress.
• Advocate for patients throughout recovery.

Job Type: Per Diem (as-needed basis). Schedule and hours will vary based on clinic needs and will be discussed in further detail during the interview process.

Responsibilities

As a PT You’llAchieve Success By:

• Applying your clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
• Collaboratively developing and adjusting evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
• Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
• Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
• Serving as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

Physical Therapist Requirements:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
• Passion for evidence-based, patient centered care
• CPR and first aid certification required
• 1+ years of experience as a licensed physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting; No New Grads

Compensation: $70/Hr.. Benefits include paid sick leave, FEDlogic Benefit Navigation, Commuter FSA, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
