Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus is seeking a Day shift, full-time Acute Care Physical Therapist in Topeka, KS. You will evaluate patients, establish plans of care, and deliver prescribed therapy in accordance with APTA standards and Kansas practice acts.

You will supervise clinical support staff, promote PT services and professional development, and report to the department leader. KU Health System St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
• Active Physical Therapy license in State of Kansas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Preferred: Previous medical setting or rehabilitation setting experience.
