Job summary

Amergis in Waco, TX seeks a Travel Physical Therapist to evaluate patients and deliver therapy services per care plans and physician orders. The position requires current TX PT licensure and compliance with applicable standards, with 40-hour weeks and travel responsibilities.

We offer weekly pay of $2,966, competitive benefits including health/dental/vision and a 401(k) plan. Prior PT experience is preferred, and candidates must meet all facility and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in TX.
• 1 year of PT experience preferred.
• CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient and physician’s orders when applicable.

Minimum Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
• One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
