Job summary

Thrive Therapy of Kansas is seeking a compassionate PT to join our fast-growing home‑care team in Kansas. You will provide therapeutic services to program participants, document sessions, and collaborate with the care team to support recovery.

Responsibilities include initial evaluations, tailoring exercises, patient education, and maintaining equipment knowledge. A valid Kansas PT license and reliable transportation are required; background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Licensed Kansas PT required.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Administer therapy treatments per care plan.
• Document therapy sessions and progress.
• Conduct supervision every 6–8 weeks.
• Perform initial patient evaluations.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Assess indications/contraindications of therapies.
• Train participants at home and in the community.
• Maintain therapy equipment knowledge.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to modify treatment plan.
• Adhere to confidentiality.

Job Duties

• Administer therapy treatment to program participants according to a Patient Plan of Care
• Assure all program participants receive scheduled therapy treatments and document therapy sessions
• Perform supervisions every 6‑8 weeks
• Initial evaluations of patients
• Perform active, passive, and/or resistive therapeutic exercises, utilizing general therapy principles with program participants
• Demonstrate knowledge of indications and contraindications of healing modalities and techniques
• Train program participants in homebound and community level, including endurance training
• Maintain a good working knowledge of therapy equipment and therapeutic exercise treatments
• Confer with health‑care members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate program participant information for modifying and coordinating current treatment program; participate in treatment planning with the team as requested
• Adhere to ethics of confidentiality
• Take inventory of current therapy equipment and confer with department regarding status and future needs; request supplies as needed
• Follow daily scheduling patterns, communicate with staff, and adjust schedules as needed for flexibility
