Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current California Physical Therapist license (or eligibility for new grads).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine PT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise PTAs and assist in training Restorative Aides.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and families on progress and discharge.
• Complete timely clinical documentation complying with regulations.
• Recommend durable medical equipment to enhance independence.
• Provide in-service training for staff and educate families on fall prevention.
