Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our school-based team in Palatine, IL. This part-time role focuses on helping students improve mobility, independence, and participation in their educational environment through individualized therapy services and collaborative support.

Qualifications include active Illinois licensure, a degree from an accredited PT program, and experience with children/adolescents.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois with school-based experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program and active IL license.
• Experience working with children and adolescents; strong communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct physical therapy services in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies to support student success
• Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed
