Job summary

Amergis is seeking a traveling Physical Therapist for a position in Kosciusko, MS. You will evaluate patients and deliver therapy services according to the plan of care and physician orders, with standard 40-hour weeks and competitive weekly pay.

Requirements include current PT licensure in the state, graduation from an accredited PT program, and CPR where applicable; 18+ years old and compliance with health and regulatory standards are required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• One year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• CPR if applicable (current).
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and document therapy services per plan of care.
• Provide therapy in accordance with physician's orders when applicable.
• Document treatments and progress as part of care plan.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient and physician’s orders when applicable.

Minimum Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
