Job summary

Elara Caring in Enid, Oklahoma is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care, evaluate functional needs, and design personalized plans of care for patients in our community. You will collaborate with specialists, document progress, and uphold high standards of physical therapy.

The role requires travel across branch coverage (up to 50%), flexibility for irregular hours, and leadership to support staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted PT license valid for the state of work.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility.
• Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area.
• Dependable vehicle.
• Valid driver's license.
• Current auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
• Able and willing to travel 50%

Responsibilities

• Promote Elara Caring's philosophy, mission statement, and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate functional needs and outcomes, and consult with other specialists.
• Review patients' functional needs and adjust care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Design and implement patient plans of care based on thorough assessments.
• Incorporate participation by significant others when appropriate.
• Conduct therapy practice within defined standards of care.
• Direct support staff assistance to achieve patients' functional goals.
• Document evaluations, treatment goals, plans, prescriptions, and signatures.
• Regularly update and maintain documentation.
• Provide direction and leadership to staff.
• Act as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.
• Work in a physically demanding, high-stress environment.
• Potentially work irregular hours, including call hours if applicable.
• Report to the Branch Director, Clinical Manager, Clinical Supervisor, or designee
