Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients and deliver therapy per a care plan in a healthcare facility in Brewton, Alabama. The contract is full-time with a 40-hour work week and a pay rate of $58 per hour.

Ideal candidates hold an Alabama PT license, graduate of an accredited PT program, and have CPR and health-cert requirements met as dictated by contract and law. This role requires compliance with federal/state/local regulations and is an equal

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• One year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient and physician’s orders when applicable.
