Job summary

Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing in Washington is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab team. You will evaluate, plan, and administer treatments to residents with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain and improve function.

In this role you will document care in accordance with policies and state and federal regulations, provide instruction to patients and families, and work closely with the caregiving team to monitor progress.

Qualifications

• SNF/Long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices.
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Assured all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
• Measures & records patient’s motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitors patient responses to treatments and makes modifications during treatment sessions as necessary
• Completes documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

The Physical Therapist (PT) plays a pivotal role in the rehab department at our skilled nursing facility, promoting the physical well-being and functional recovery of our residents.
