TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patient populations in the department. You will plan therapies, use a range of equipment, and document patient progress to support recovery.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and use therapies involving physical exercise, massage, heat, water, light and electricity.
• Utilize mechanical and electrical equipment and prosthetic/orthotic devices.
• Evaluate and report patient response to treatment and progress toward goals.
• Integrate physical therapy treatments with other aspects of patient care.
• Assist patients to reach maximal function and cope with limitations.
• Monitor and document patient condition using computerized systems.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Physical Therapist, you will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate evaluation and care for patient populations served in his/her department.

What you will do in this role:

• You will plan and use therapies involving physical exercise, massage, heat, water, light and electricity.

• You will utilize various mechanical and electrical equipment and prosthetic and orthotic devices.

• You will evaluate, record and report on patients response to treatment and progress toward identified goals.

• You will integrate physical therapy treatments with other aspects of patient care.

• You will assist patients reach their maximal reasonably levels of function and to cope with their limitations.

• You will monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.

What qualifications you will need:

• TN Physical Therapy license required

• Must be a graduate of an accredited PT program

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current
