Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join a collaborative, patient-focused team. You’ll assess, treat, and guide patients through personalized recovery plans, working with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and patient experience.

New graduates are welcome; licensure in Indiana and CPR are required. Weekend availability and leadership opportunities may be available within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Indiana.
• Current CPR certification.
• Clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients referred to the Physical Therapy department.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, therapy plans, and home exercises.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans; prepare discharge recommendations.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in staff meetings.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, rehab techs, and volunteers.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and student programs.

What You’ll Do
